WELCOME TO INNER

The face behind the brand

My name is Mel, I am a Mother of Sonny and partner of Lesi (they double as my casual workers). I work part time in the family business, and own 2 businesses of my own, so I guess you could say I am one busy mama! 
As a family you can catch us at the beach, road tripping and travelling when we're not working or in the sports season.

We reside in the west coast, Perth, Australia. Although we live down under our home roots originate from New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

I am beyond excited to finally share my beautiful creations with the world and bring you all along on this crazy journey with me that is only just beginning. A legacy in the making.

How I create

I am very intuitive when it comes to anything and everything. So the way I create in my workspace is most likely very different to the norm candle maker, I make candles like I'm cooking!

My home candle studio is like a very sacred space for me and I am very protective and aware of the energy myself and others carry when entering this space.

It has taken me many years, business ideas/ventures and many times failing forward I like to say, all that has led me to here. For years I have longed to create a brand that had deeper meaning, deeper connection and deeper purpose.

This all stemmed from my combined passion for nature, science, culture, experimenting and creating.I have always wanted to create a brand and space that represented myself, my family, my culture, my inner me. A seamless blend of multiple cultures in the pacific. I also wanted to set an example for my son and show him that anything is possible and as cliche as it sounds to find your passion and follow your dreams no matter how long it takes.

Giving back 

Giving is in my nature, so in every business idea and venture I needed to create something I could use as a vessel to give back to the community and earth. I am proud to say that today I have finally created just that. My hope for you is that in whatever way Inner comes into your life it helps you in some way relevant to what you need at that time, whether it be through who we donate to, the beautiful designs, colors or a nostalgic smell that brings back a happy memory. Please enjoy these beautiful creations and most of all enjoy the space in which this was created to give you.
